Introduction to Woodworking

This class is geared towards the beginner looking into understanding the woodworking shop. We will go over each machine in the shop such as the tablesaw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, routers, sanders, and more. You will have a chance to use the machinery and tools once they are discussed so that you can gain confidence in using them in your own shop. We will look at the various parts to the machine, setting up the machines, safety, accessories to the tools, and pros/cons. There will be available shop scraps to use to try each machine and tool out.

Class Size: 4 Students (1 session class)

  • March 17th Sunday @ 9:00am - 1:00pm
  • April 7th Sunday @ 9:00am - 1:00pm
  • May 5th Sunday @ 9:00am - 1:00pm

Price: $280 + $0 materials fee

  1. Paper and notebook (for note taking if you wish)
