DIY 1 Night Projects

Looking to make a simple project in only 1 night?! In these 6 classes you can build them in only 1 night other than applying the finish. All of these classes will be made with pine lumber and quick efficient ways to assemble the projects so you can take them home. The 6 classes include: beer caddy, rustic chalkboard sign, ottoman tray, wine bottle + glass holder, chevron wall arrows, & shou sugi ban tea candle holder.

Beer Caddy

Take this beer caddy on your next tailgating party, wedding, picnic, or party. It features a black pipe handle and cast iron bottle opener on the side. In this class you will learn how to use both the tablesaw and mitersaw to cut parts to size, and nail gun to attach  parts together. Once done, all you have to is apply finish on your own and impress ever beer drinker with your woodworking skills.

Rustic Chalkboard Sign

Create a rustic chalkboard to organize your life and family. You can leave reminders, to do list, or even little notes for others. In this class you will learn how to use the mitersaw to cut your parts to size, pocket hole jig to assemble our frame, tablesaw to cut your center panel, and router to create a rabbet for back panel to sit in. Once complete, you can stain and finish the rustic chalkboard on your own.

Ottoman Tray

A ottoman tray is a great place to put your cup of coffee on or a TV remote. Build this ottoman tray in 1 night out of rustic pine using the tablesaw & mitersaw to cut parts to size, and nail gun to assemble the tray. Once complete, you will take your tray home to apply finish and put to use.

Wine Bottle + Glass Holder

Do you love wine and rustic decor? How about making a wine bottle and glass holder to put on your wall? In this class you will use the mitersaw to cut parts to size, bandsaw to cut tapered side pieces, and nail gun to assemble your holder. Once complete, you will have a place to show off your wine bottles & glasses in a beautiful rustic wall holder after applying a finish of your choice.

Chevron Wall Arrows

Build a set of 3 rustic chevron wall arrows in 1 night. In this class you will learn how to use the mitersaw to cut parts to size and pocket hole jig to assemble your wall arrows. There will be hangers that can be positioned horizontal or vertical. Once complete, you will have really cool rustic chevron arrows that will add to the decor on your wall after applying finish of your choice.

Shou Sugi Ban

Tea Candle Holder

Learn the art of the Japanese technique shou sugi ban where you get to torch the wood to a worn, dark look that will look beautiful as a centerpiece. In just 1 night you will learn how to use the drill press to drill out the 4 holes for the tea candles and use a propane torch to torch the wood properly. Once complete, you will apply a coat of Odie's oil which is a natural finish that protects the wood and brings a shine to it.
